WELCOME ABOARD the CHRISTCHURCH CITY TRAM and step back in time to a grand era of transport.

Enjoy a journey around Christchurch's central city in the style and romance of our faithfully restored vintage trams.

Christchurch's inner city is a special place to explore with outstanding heritage buildings, restful parks, the meandering Avon River, unique shopping precincts, historic Cathedral Square and fascinating Worcester Boulevard and Arts Centre. Tram drivers will provide you with an entertaining and informative 30-minute tour of city sights. You may get on and off any of the trams on the circuit as you please, giving you time to explore the city attractions and shopping. There's no need to book, just pay as you board at any stop along the tram route.

At the end of a perfect day for a unique dining experience, be Welcomed aboard the Christchurch Tramway restaurant. Enjoy touring the city by night as you enjoy this unique experience in restaurant dining.
